I wouldn't have a TV in my house if it were up to me (my husband is the one who watches it, so it is hidden away in a cold horrible basement hovel), but that doesn't stop me from watching YouTube, Netflix or a variety of other video delivery systems (not to mention popping in DVDs). For my daughter (2 1/2) I allow watching (or, indeed, playing with apps on my iPad) as a desperation measure, usually just a couple of times a week. But I KNOW that they watch Treehouse at daycare, and given everything else good about the daycare, I can't bring myself to start the horrible task of looking for a new one because of TV-watching.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
